MY NYSC JOURNAL (FREE E-BOOK)

I obeyed the clarion call. I served my fatherland. NYSC done and dusted. It all ended in praise. For my non Nigerian friends and visitors, NYSC means National Youth Service Corps. It is a scheme organized by the Nigerian government whereby Nigerian graduates partake in a compulsory one year service. The aim is to involve Nigerian graduates in nation building and the development of the country. I’m grateful to God, the owner of the Universe for grace and favour. I’m grateful to all who made the service year a memorable one. I have so many things to share about my service year and to just make it simple for all to read, I decided to make it into a book. The book is completely free.   Click here to download your free copy of my ebook     It’s as simple as ABC😁😁😁 Thank you for stopping by. Much Love 💕.

30 Amazing Facts About Me

Hey friend! Glad to have you in my space. You don’t know how much this means to me. It gives me joy to see you here. I’m Elizabeth Tolulope Egbeniyi, a kingdom warrior, natural health enthusiast, health and lifestyle blogger, baker, teens coach and researcher. I’ll love to share with you 30 Amazing Facts About Me. 1) I am a child of God and I love Him above all. He is all that matters to me. 2) I was born in a village but many people do think I was born in city 😂. 3) I am the first born of my lovely parents with 3 amazing siblings – Tope, Titi, Toyin. 4) I am my daddy’s younger sister. Funny, right? 🤓. I resemble both my dad and mum. I laugh when I see people trying hard to analyze who I resemble. And oh! I resemble different people as well. I’ve had a lots of scenario when I’ll just meet someone on the road and the next thing is “sister, are you this person?” OR “sister, you resemble someone I know” 5) I am a lover of Korean movies (though I rarely watch movies again) and my best Korean dish I look forward to eating is Kimchi. Click here to read the post on how to prepare Kimchi. I will love to go to Jeju Island, Seoul and Jeonju one day. 6) Apart from writing, baking is what gives me joy. Vanilla cake is my best type of cake. Click here for more info about my baking business. 7) I love a whole lots of Bible characters but Daniel, David and Esther are my favourites. And yes, I am Elizabeth and I love Elizabeth too (winks) 🤗 8) My best food is Amala and Vegetables. On the contrary, I eat rice a lot. So, people assume rice is my best food. 9) I am an emotional person. I’m easily moved to tears. I cry when I am happy, sad, shouted at, praying, etc. I’m getting better at this though. 10) Apple is my best fruit though I once hated it. 11) I’m very good at keeping memories. The major reason I don’t play with my diary. 12) I don’t eat pizza, sharwama, golden morn, corn flakes, indomie and spaghetti, semovita and wheat. Well, don’t ask me what I eat (winks). And oh yes! Chin Chin is my favourite snack and water is my favourite drink. 13) I love to read novels a lot. Karen Kingsbury and Francine River’s are my favourite authors. 14) I am a blend Spirit-controlled Melancholy, Phlegmatic and Sanguine in the ratio 35:35:30. I will rather say I am an ambivert (extroverted introvert to be precise). 15) I am not a talking type. I prefer writing to talking/speaking when communicating with people. However, I’ve started learning and greatly improved to express myself through speaking more. 16) I can be a very shy and talkative person at the same time. It all depends on who I am relating with. 17) I love to make new friends a lot. 18) I enjoy cooking especially Amala and vegetable soup. 19) I love to teach, train, coach and mentor teenagers. I run an online platform that fosters this. Click here to find out more. 20) I can be very open but secretive at the same time. 21) I love my privacy a lot. At the same time, I don’t like being all alone by myself for too long. 22) I rarely listen to music. I’m getting better in this aspect though. 23) I love dancing but I don’t know how to dance well 😔. I only dance well in my head. 24) I am a plant scientist. Plant science was not my choice but I later fell in love with it. My journey into world of blogging started from there as well. I am now an advocate of herbs for healing and health. 25) I love babies a lot especially twins. 26) I walk fast. I eat fast. I write fast. I talk fast. Well, I’ve learnt that not everything in life should be done in haste. One needs to be calm and take a step per time. 27) I’m a midnight person. I love getting things done during the midnight. With just 2 hours of sleep during the day, I can stay awake for the whole night. 28) I love LOVE. I have more than one love languages but words of affirmation is my prominent love language. 29) My best colours are blue and yellow. 30) Death motivates me. I also love to hear about Heaven always. These two give me the consciousness that I won’t be in this world forever, hence, I need to live my life right. Yaaaaay, I’m glad you’ve known me better. I will love to know you too and I also want to see more of you here. Don’t forget to subscribe to the blog so as get notifications of new posts. Want us to connect more? Brains Behind Botapreneur

I’ve loved to write since I was small. Back then, I’d write short stories and textbooks and say that I’ll publish them in the future. Very saddening that I can’t lay hands on those write ups anymore. Many people thought I should have ended in Art class but No, I was pursuing Medicine and surgery. 😍 But about 3 years ago, I started writing and posting some articles on my Facebook wall. The writing were majorly about plants and little about some other things. As at that time, I was just getting to enjoy my course of study. I didn’t apply for Botany as a course in school but somehow I find myself studying Botany. I was intrigued to know more about the values and importance of plants. It was like an eye opener then. But on a particular day, I was preparing for an exam when a call came in from my uncle named Oni Daniel. He said he had seen some of my write ups and he want me to get better at it. He also talked about having an entrepreneurial skill. He spoke at length on that day and he was the one that first brought the idea of having a blog. As at then, I knew almost nothing about blogging. I only got to know about it from one of my roommates that has a blog(@blogsbythemie). Somehow somehow, I got the name Botapreneur from some things my uncle said that day. His words were so inspired. He kept pushing me to do something about having a blog. Then, by November, a friend of mine told me about a group and asked if I have ever heard about the founder. That’s how I got to know Sis Lizzy Oyekunle. I went through her posts on Facebook, sent her a text and I requested to be added to her her group(The B. U. D family). I was greatly touched by her stories as well. There and then, I told her I have interest in having a blog as well. Lo and behold, she forwarded my number to someone that could help me with the design of the blog. I had barely know her for a week as at then. Without wasting time, the person chatted me up, asked for the details of what and how I want the blog to be. Since there was no money to host a blog then, I opted for a free hosted one. He designed the blog and painstakingly taught me everything I needed to know. To say he really tried will be an understatement. Remember I said I barely know anything about blogging as at then. So, he took so much time explaining things. A times, he would stay awake till as late as 11pm explaining things over and over again. Funny enough, all the teachings were done online which wasn’t an easy task at all. A times, he will have to explain one thing more than once before I understood. He sent a lot of screenshots to aid the learning. He also opened a page for the blog on my Facebook and created an account for me on naira land. With all the stress , he didn’t even complain nor ask for any amount of money. That was how the blog kicked of just about few days to my birthday in 2016. That was how www.botapreneur.wordpress.com was birthed. After then, I kept praying for a miracle to happen for me to have an hosted blog. I know I might not get the money by myself except if there happened to be a miracle. If not, I’d have to wait till I finish from school, work and earn money before I can host my blog. And it’d be very difficult to even get my parents give me the money since they don’t know what it is all about. I have been waiting for the miracle and it finally happened in November 2018. Just about the time my blogging became 2 years. Some days before my birthday, I jokingly listed some things on my Whatshapp status as what I needed as birthday gifts and getting my blog hosted was part of what I wrote. It was even the number one on the list. And just on my birthday(November 28), Sis Lizzy Oyekunle sent a voice note to wish me happy birthday and stating that she would love to host my blog for me as birthday gift. It was unbelievable. I never expected it. I never saw it coming. Even though I put a request on my status, it was more like a joke. I still believed I can get money, cake, books, etc as gifts but getting a blog hosted? No. I only added it out of the little faith I had then. I listened to the voice note over and over again to be very sure. You need to see me jumping, jubilating and screaming afterwards. Within a week, the blog was created but I had to wait for my previous posts on the former site to be moved to the new site. The person that created it was so busy and couldn’t help continue with the transferring of the posts and the designing. However, sis Lizzy wanted it to be done before 2019 rolls in. And once again, she contacted bro David again, the same person that designed the first one. I was already at the church for the cross over service when he called to ask for my username and password to the former site as he was having difficulties to log in. And about an hour later, sis Lizzy called to tell me that the blog is now ready. So fast? I was amazed. Bro David added that if there are things I want him to adjust or modify, I should let him know. It was such an honor. I told him that I’ll get back to him after January 1st as I don’t want to
