The Tears!!!

I sincerely do not believe there is no one on earth that hasn’t shed tears at one point of his/her life. As humans, we are created with the ability to shed/cry not only as an expression for our emotions, but also as an opportunity to release pent up feelings. In life, we experience heartbreaks, betrayal, frustration, loss, depression, dejection, inconveniences, etc which make us cry. Crying is part of life!! Is that true at all? It is because we do cry at one point or the other of our lives no matter how hard we try not to. As small as I am, a lot have happened that brought tears to my face but through it all, I have learnt that crying doesn’t solve the problems of life. Yes, tears are therapeutic and remains a key part of healing process but shouldn’t be forever. When you cry, let it heal and not wound you the more. When you cry in your closet, don’t forget to wipe the tears, then come out and smile for the world. Nevertheless, rather than crying over what you pass through, why not cry unto God instead? (Do you remember the tears of Hannah in the Bible?) 1 Samuel 1:10 – “And she was in bitterness of soul, and prayed unto the Lord, and wept sore”. And didn’t God surprised her?? This has been one of the principles that makes me strong day by day. When I’m hurt, sad, disappointed, etc, I cry in my closet. Not just crying in form of pity but also crying to God. When I hear people say Lizzy smile a lot, I only smile the more. The reason is I have learnt to cry only to my God and smile to the world. What I have for you today is this: Everything you pass through in life is a mini chapter of your story. No matter what you might have experienced from life, do not be frustrated. Cry no more over the past, only grab the future and make fortune of it. Don’t let God only be the starting point of your life, let Him also be the source as well. Rather than focusing on yourself, focus on God. Be an Hannah.. Cry to God and let Him support you. Never give up on yourself Be strong and courageous Work on your happiness Rejoice in the Lord always Always smile because there is always light at the end of the tunnel.
