What Will The End Be???

Kezia hurried to get inside the bathroom and have a quick bath as she was already getting late for class. On a norm, most students on the floor make use of the first and last bathroom leaving the second and third ones.

In the course of having her bath, she perceived a kind of odour emanating from the bathroom but felt it was because the cleaner wasn’t around yet to do her work. But right in the middle of having her bath, her eyes got glued to the faeces that was deposited in the middle of the bathroom pipe. It was such a disgusting sight but she couldn’t get out of the bathroom. She felt since she already started taking her bath, she can just endure till the end.. Smiles

She related her ordeal to me and asked what I would have done in that situation. I told her I was going to leave the bathroom after sighting the faeces

Hahahaha.. How would you leave? After all,what if you never noticed the faeces, you could have still continue having your bath only that the odour will have to be endured..

Anyway, that is me.. I would rather leave the bathroom for another than staying after the horrible sight.

She couldn’t get over the effects of the sight for a while. She made sure she informed other roommates so that they wouldn’t enter the same bathroom.

This is the same scenario that happens in our day to day activities.
There is this path you are treading but you never knew it is dreadful. Then at a point, your eyes got opened and you discovered the end of it might be disastrous and leave you glooming. Even though you had traveled more than half of the journey already, will you rather continue and trade with your joy or will you back out???

In another sense, you have been in a relationship for more than 3 years but suddenly different signs keep popping up to warn you of the dangers ahead if you eventually settle with that lady/man.
Will you love to break up or patch up??
Will you love to enjoy or endure?
Won’t it be better to take the bold step of coming out of the relationship rather than endure till the end?
Someone would say, “After spending my time, emotions, money and love on him/her, I can’t just back out like that”
Uhmmm, isn’t it better to back out than being backed out?

As a student, you do not like the course you are studying. You are only studying the course because you were forced by your parents, teachers, friends, etc.
On getting to school, you felt you would rather study Law to Medicine. Nevertheless, you are trying to push it because you felt you can’t start all over again.
Isn’t it better to finish your course with joy than regret??
What then is the purpose of finishing with that course but not being fulfilled after all???
You would agree with me that that would be very disastrous after all.

There is no journey of life you will get to that you can’t turn back as much as you haven’t reached the end point.
All it will take is determination and God’s grace.
Do not focus on the cost but rather on the prize.

I’m sure you wouldn’t want to have a bad long-lasting effects just like Kezia..
I’m sure you wouldn’t want to start warning people using your case as an example..
I’m sure you wouldn’t want to disobey God and go ahead with that particular thing he is warning about.
Take the bold step, it might not be easy but have to persist.

Kezia perceived the odour from the onset but didn’t make frantic effort to discover the source before embarking to have a bath..

Are you about embarking on a project as well but you wave away those signs you are noticing by giving flimsy excuses?
I think it will be nice to quickly have a rethink before you get to the point where you will find it difficult to go back.

Also, do not be in a hurry to make a life decision. If Kezia wasn’t in a hurry to enter the bathroom and come out fast, she might have taken note of the faeces in the bathroom.
Dearest,the decision you have to make  might be difficult but remember there is still light at the end of the tunnel.
