If Ye Love Me

 

Everybody is excited about this day. Of course, it is necessary because it is a day of love.
Of a truth, you would want to agree with me that this day is like any other day. In fact, it is a general day, a public day. In less than 14 hours, February 14th 2017 would have become  a day of the past.

What is more to this Val? Is it just about Love? If that’s the case, I have once loved, still loving and will keep loving.

As everywhere keeps blossoming and love floating, several questions keep popping in my brain.

*Why February 14th and not March 18th?

* Why do people spread fear instead of love on this day?

* What is the story behind this day?
The most popular story about Valentine’s Day
origin is that Emperor Claudius II didn’t want
Roman men to marry during wartime. Bishop
Valentine went against his wishes and
performed secret weddings. For this, Valentine
was jailed and executed. While in jail he wrote
a note to the jailor’s daughter signing it “from
your Valentine”.
In 1537, England’s King Henry VII officially
declared Feb. 14 the holiday of St. Valentine’s
Day.
What an interesting story.

That makes February 14th a day of showing sincere love to
unhappy people out there at the
motherless home,prison & hospitals, loved ones and families.

Nevertheless, we doesn’t have to wait for this day before we express and show love to each other.
Everyday should be a day of love, genuine and agape love.

It is an express command from Christ: (John 13:34) :”A new commandment I give unto you, That ye
love one another; as I have loved you, that ye
also love one another. ”
But Christ didn’t limit that to February 14th alone.
It is only on this day people remember to act lovely.
It is only on this day that people give generously.
It is only on this day that people care.

Too bad because that is not the command of Christ.

People ought to show love on this day but express lust instead.
Of course, that’s not God’s commandment
Today the wise virgin & the foolish virgin will
be known: the wise one will remember today &
be happy while the foolish one will regret for
the rest of their life.
To be wise depend on your behavior &
movement of today. Be wise!!!
Let’s leave Valentine for Valentine and let’s talk about real love.

” Behold what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God,… ”

John 15vs13
” Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends. ”

Oh what an amazing love!!
Why don’t you use this moment to think about the love of God?
If not for His love, will you still be alive to witness this particular day?
If not for His love, will you still be in good health as you are?
If not for His love, what would have become of you today?

Oh if not for his love, who are we?We are nothing without him.He has stretched  his hands of love towards us.

He has sent His son to die for us.
He is our Rock
He is our Refuge
He is our Fortress             He is the Mighty One in battle

He is the Yahweh
He is the Unquestionable One.

What does he want in return for His love :(John 15vs14)
“If ye love me, keep my commandments. ”
That’s it, if ye love God, you will surely keep His commandments.

=Keep His commandments by loving your neighbour as yourself and not only on February 14

=Keep His commandment by staying pure and holy always.

=Keep His commandment by spreading the gospel and not immorality
=Keep His commandment by obeying Him

=Keep His commandment by serving Him

… If ye love me (God), keep my commandments…
