Nurse Oyin: Yes
But you can remove the yolk if need be

1b: Oh, does the yolk have any side effects?
It is but as you grow………you need to cut down cholesterol(good or bad)

1c: Ma, please what are the effects of cholesterol in the body?
A) Cardiovascular problems;could obstruct blood flow
B) Systemic diseases
C) Obesity

Question 2: Does taking too much of mangoes reduce weight?

Nurse Oyin: Mango is very ideal for weight loss but eating mango alone won’t reduce your weight. Balancing it with other diet is key

Question 3: Is it advisable to eat vegetables without cooking?

Nurse Oyin: Yes!there are some veggies that can be taken without cooking e.g brocolli,celery,lettuce and many more even beet roots

Question 4: How often should one take in soft drinks?

Nurse Oyin: Soft drinks is not so healthy but can be taken.
Just control it,some take soft drinks everyday,nah!!it should just be occasionally
Instead of soft drinks,go for natural fruit juice using fruit extractor or rather make a smoothies.

Question 5: To what extent should pepper be in the soup?

Nurse Oyin: Pepper has no nutritional benefit except for green pepper and tomatoes
So take pepper according to how it suits you. But because of ulcer,you should watch out.

Question 6: It is said that one shouldn’t eat too much meat, why?

Nurse Oyin: Meat is an awesome protein. Eat meat(beef). Cut out the fat from it

Question 7a: Is taking tea during menstruation ideal?

Nurse Oyin: Tea can be taken at anytime regardless of physiological events

7b): I have a friend of mine that takes tea every blessed day(ranging from Top tea to Lipton and Milo) is it right as well?

Nurse Oyin: Yeah

All she needs to watch is the sugar and fat content.

7c: What effects does sugar have in the body?

Nurse Oyin: Sugar is great……gives energy and makes the cell function well but like they say “excess of everything is bad”
Also if there is history of diabetes in the family or if you are obese,less sugar should be taken but never cut out sugar permanently from your diet

Question 8: Some says drinking water while eating is not good, is it true?

Nurse Oyin: Water should be taken before and after meal
Taking water while eating gets you filled up quickly . You can take a sip if the food is really spicy

Question 9: Does eating noodles as a student have effects in the body?

Nurse Oyin: Noodles is a quick meal but you shouldn’t focus on it only

Question 10: What is the effect of sleeping with one’s back or chest?

Nurse Oyin: You should sleep on our side…..best position
