Some of Our Community's Activities Include:

1) DAILY TIPS: This is simply sharing of health, nutrition or plant based tips, affirmations & prayers, debunking of myths & misconceptions, etc in form of infographics and short write ups daily. This runs from SUNDAYS TO FRIDAYS. The outline for tips for each day of the week goes thus:

Sundays – Affirmations/Prayers

Monday – Motivation

Tuesday – Plants Based Tips

Wednesday – Nutrition Based Tip

Thursday – Health Based Tip

Friday – Natural Remedies & Myths Debunked

2) DAILY LOGGING

This is daily recording and reporting of foods and drinks consumed throughout the day. It is important to include the time that they are taken and the quantity. Daily logging helps in tracking how well we are eating and also serve as a form of accountability. The logging is usually done anytime between 6pm and 11pm. Sundays are free logging days. Instead, health/nutritional goals and meal plan for the week shared to the house.

3) SEMINARS/TRAININGS: Seminars/trainings on health and nutrition comes up once every month. Asides this, short articles are shared on specific health or nutrition days (like World Hepatitis Day, World Food Day, etc) for enlightenment.

4) RECIPE CLASSES & CHALLENGE

This is teaching of healthy food recipes, thereby giving us room to learn new varieties we can inculcate in our diet. This comes up every Saturday. Rosters are created and those assigned for a week are expected to teach us new and healthy recipe(s) for that week. It can be recipe for food, soup, drink, salad, baked goods, etc. Every 1st Saturday is for RECIPE CHALLENGE. This challenge simply means that everyone must try out at least 2 out of the recipes that have been taught the previous month and share the outcome on the group.

5) MONTHLY HEALTH CHALLENGES

This simply means engaging in activities that will challenge, encourage and motivate one another to be more health conscious in our decisions.
These monthly challenges are ways of helping one another to either cultivate new habits or stop some habits.
